Ceres Class Cruisers post-1936 (HMS Coventry / HMS Curlew)

The Ceres Class light cruisers was part of the C class cruisers which were a class of 28 light cruisers of the Royal Navy and consisted of seven groups of sub-classes. The Ceres Class was a group of 5 ships build during the first world war. Two ships were sunk by enemy action and one was lost by an collision in WW2.

Armament as build; five 6-inch guns, two 3-inch guns, two 2-punder guns and eight 21-inch torpedo-tubes (4 x 2) (This model is NOT included)

Armament post-1936 AA-ship conversion; ten QF 4 inch guns (10 x 1), sixteen 2-pdr guns (2 x 8) (This is the model provided)

HMS Cardiff, survived WW2. (Not included)
HMS Ceres, survived WW2. (Not included)
HMS Coventry, converted to AA ship in 1937, sunk by air-attack in the Mediterranean in Sept 1942.
HMS Curacoa, converted to AA ship in 1939 (Not included) sunk after a collision with the RMS Queen Mary north of Ireland Oct 1942.
HMS Curlew, converted to AA ship in 1938, sunk by air-attack in Ofotflord May 1940.

This set includes only the options for printing the HMS Coventry and HMS Curlew after 1936/1938. (After conversion to AA-cruiser)
The models are provided in 1/1000 scale and are Resin print only, although the bases can be printed on an FDM-printer.

1/1800 - resize to 55,56%

1/1200 - resize to 83,5%

There are a number of bases provided, text recessed and the text raised. I used the recessed version for FDM printed bases. Do not forget to also re-scale the bases if you print in 1/1200 or 1/1800 scale. Named bases provided for HMS Coventry and HMS Curlew.

Also included 1/1800 scale pre-support model which I used for the test-prints on my Anycubic Mono SE (0.05mm layer) using standard resin. Use at your own risk, might be best you create your own supported files, which prints best on you own printer. Some parts are rather delicate, mainly the gun barrels, and you will need to remove support carefully.

The flat-base can be printed on an Ender 5 pro (0.16 mm layer) standard PLA. But could also be printed in Resin if you want, which will provide a better print compared to my PLA printed bases. (no supported file provided)
