Small Viking Warship (Snekkja Class)

This ship is a 24- or 26-seater design from around 900-1000 AD.  The shields are separate items - printing them separately on a resin printer gives the best results, of course.  The hull should fit on a standard printing plate (22x22cm), when you place it diagonally.

You can pick up a crew for this one in my next post, which I will add here shortly.

Blocks for the rigging, anchor, rudder and various masts/poles are included, as is a pdf file for a sail and of course a raven banner. There are two sets of oars, one chunky and easy to print out esp. if you print a smaller scale, the other ("oars new") thinner but more realistic.

I've scaled this down from the native 1:72 scale to around half that without much problem. If you want to avoid the marks that supports leave on the underside of the hull, there are alternative files with which you can print out the hull in two pieces, vertically.  Using finer settings on a FDM printer (0.25mm nozzle, 0.06mm layers) I have reduced the model to 36% of original size, or 1:200 scale, but below that the hull starts to break up.
