Large Viking Warship with Crew, 850AD (Skejd Class)

This  32-seater from the ninth century is what most of us would probably associate with a Viking longship, owing to two famous burial finds in Norway (the Oseberg and the Gokstad ships).  The ship comes with a crew (four different seated rowing Vikings wearing armour, both with and without helmets, plus a coxwain, who usually had higher social status than the rest).  I've supplied some blocks to tie the rigging between the mast and the holes in some of the ribs and at the ends.  Note also when the ship is sailing, you can attach  a diagonal spar (the infamous Beiti-Ass) to a three-hole holder at the front of the ship at one end while using the other end to hold a bottom corner of the square sail in place.  I have again added the raven banner, an appropriately sized sail as PDF, two sorts of shields, shield racks, benches, and a stand with an inscription.  At full size (1:72 scale) the hull needs to be printed as two parts on an FDM printer with a 22x22cm plate, either vertically or horizontally.

This model can be reduced to 50% of original size (=1:144 scale) with standard FDM printer settings (PLA, 0.4mm nozzle).  Smaller than that requires fine settings (0.25mm nozzle) where the hull stays stable up to 36% original size (1:200 scale).  I've created a version printable as a single hull that can be used for 6mm wargaming i.e. reduction to 25% of original size - give me a shout if you want a copy of that one !

BTW the visor helmet used by two of the rowing crewmen, while popular at reenactments,  is not really established as ever having been used in practice, so if you want to really be realistic, just strike those two poses off your list and only use the remaining six :)
