Model of LCT - Mark 4.
The model has been prepared and detailed for 1:100 wargaming. Meaning the railing is a bit stronger to prevent breaking to easy. It is waterline model and not a complete hull design. The Hull would be below water and would not work on a gaming table. The model is based on original drawings.
Test-printed on a Creality Ender-5 FDM in 020mm layer and Anycubic Mono SE 004mm layer. The whole model can be printed on a FDM printer. Just the 2 stl-files starting with RESIN- are, yes you guessed it; RESIN only. But those parts are also provided in a FDM version with less detail. Total of 40 seperate stl-files.
The 3D-prints of Railing-slope-deck-2-needed.stl needs to be bent after printing to fitt the deck correctly. Main reason is that it is more easy to print it flat on the printer-bed. (See picture Railing-slope-deck-2-needed-example.png ) If needed you can cut the stl in smaller pieces and glue it together on the craft.
I have added the complete hull, but also cut in 4 parts. I used those cuts for test-printing. But if you have large bed-dimension you could cut the model yourself. If you do print the cut parts flat on the bed, make sure to add support (print-bed support only). There is a small extension along the hull which requires support.
Model dimensions when printed in 1:100 scale
58 cm long (Ramp-down)
12 cm wide
7 cm high (with main-mast)
The 20 mm oerlikon gun is NOT included as that is not my model, there are free designs available for the 20 mm Oerlikon on wargaming3d.
