Landing Craft Mechanised - Mk1

A landing craft developed by the United Kingdom. It was used to land one single tank or other vehicles on a beach. Cargo and personnel carrying are secondary functions. The model was superseded by the LCM Mk3.

Crew -  1 officer per 3 craft, 6 man per Craft. It could be armed with two Lewis machine. (Lewis MGs not included)

It includes 2 models;

• Water-line model no rivets (Best for 15mm - 1/100 scale)


• Water-line model with rivets (For 28mm - 1/56 scale)

The model includes the hull, door (Open and Closed version), 1 rudder-wheel, hatch on wheelhouse, vents and a winch.

The set is a waterline war-gaming model, with the option for a Closed or Open Door. (15 mm and 28 mm wargaming)

The no-rivets hull-version will print fine in 1/100 on a FDM printer or a Resin printer. I have included pre-supported files for the no rivets hull-version in 1/100 scale only.

I have included a full hull version, but also a hull cut in two parts, including 3 holes/pins for better alignment when you glue the parts together.

A hull version with vents and steer-wheel attached is also provided.

All files are provided in 1/100 scale, do not forget to resize the models in your slicer for different scales (do not us the PRE-supported files for re-size, create new supports);

The Waterline test-print (no rivets) is an FDM-print, printed on a Creality Ender 5 (with upgrades) in 0.20mm layer in PLA. The Resin-print (no rivets) was printed on an Anycubic Mono SE 0.05mm layer using Anycubic Basic resin.

For most of the Parts I have included Support files for Resin printing (1/100 scale), those worked fine for me. No guarantee they will work on your printer settings. So feel free to use, but might be best you create your own supported files.
