Dutch groupshelter 1918 type II
Dutch groupshelter type 1918-II or type 2.
This was a bunker type build around 1918 in the new Dutch waterline.
Especially around the city of Utrecht (fort Vechten to Fort Everdingen)
More info below.
This is a basic model without doors or interior.
Drawn in 20mm-1:72 but should be scalable without problems from 15mm to 28mm.
The groupshelter is now standing in open fields but when in use it would have been dug into the trench sides.
trenches in the Netherlands are not sunken in most places becaus of high groundwater levers but build on top of the fields. the groupshelters therefore are also on top of the fields and not sunken into the ground.
