Deweycat Indochina multi-level Blockhouse - 28mm
Fortifications are timeless in warfare, and continue to be used to this day. In the long post-war Indochina conflict - both with the French in 1945 to 1954 and the subsequent lengthy conflict involving America and its allies - blockhouses were constructed to protect lines of communication and as anchors for fire bases.
This .stl file, intended for FDM printing, allows each removable floor be removed. It is sized to allow placing a 60mm weapon team base on the centre of any floor. As well, standing figures can be placed in any level with the upper level fixed, without issue.
The Indochina Blockhouse
This model has the following parts
Print with full supports.
Clean the support material carefully. Always test fit before gluing.
When assembling the upper floor support braces note the beveled top edge goes on the inside; and these braces slid into the roof (do not glue the roof on as this would impede placing figures in the roof platform).
