Normandy bunkers - Artillery series collection - 30% DISCOUNT!

This collection will give you all the most commonly used artillery bunkers that were present on the Normandy landing beaches and in the batteries further back inland that defended them and were attacked by allied airborne and commando forces.

The German bunkers can be roughly divided into 2 groups. The most important group are the "St" bunkers. These bunkers had a minimum wall and roof thickness of 2 meters of reinforced concrete and were therefore classified as "Bombproof" (Ständiger Ausbau)
The Regelbau were classed according to wall and ceiling thicknesses, from A (3.5 meters) to D (0.3 meters). In addition, bunker design was arranged in "series", the 1939 designs with A and B thickness falling into the 100 series. Later 400, 500 and 600 series were created for captured weapons, for example the 400 series was designed for Czechoslovakian weapons.
The Navy used M (Mittlere or Medium) for normal sea defence batteries or S (Schwere or Heavy) for the bunkers designed for larger calibre guns.
