AMX-30 AuF1 GCT 155mm SPG

1:100 design for the French 155mm AMX-30 AuF1/F2 GCT SPG, with separate turrets, in versions suitable for printing on fdm and resin printers.  The fdm version has separate tracks to ease printing.

After trials running from 1972 to 1976, the final AUF1 version was approved in 1977. This was followed by the improved AUF2 version in the 90s, based on the AMX-30B2 chassis, 70 of which were bought by the French Army. 253 AUF1 and AUF2 were bought by France in total. The production ended in 1995, and the 155 GCT (standing for “Grande Cadence de Tir”, which can be translated to High Rate of Fire), was exported to Iraq (85), Kuwait (18) and Saudi Arabia (51), with 427 built in total. The 155 GCT saw service during the Iran-Iraq war, the invasion of Kuwait, both Gulf wars and in Yugoslavia, and is still in service.

The resin version of the turret is hollow; if a solid version is required it can be found in the fdm file.  Both solid and hollow versions of the full+tracks are made available in the resin file.  The fdm tracks can be tricky to print, but are generally successful.  If a ,ore robust version is required, please contact me.

The AMX-30 MBT is also available as a design on this site.

The product is offered for personal, non-commercial use.  Derivative designs for personal use may be generated, but neither the original nor derivatives may be shared with others.  Attribution of the design is requested should printed models be exhibited or otherwise shared.  Models printed from this design or derivatives may not be sold commercially.
