As part of the emergency anti-invasion vehicles programme the Petroleum Warfare Department wanted vehicles to mount their new (and completely ineffective) Anti-Aircraft flamethrower onto. There were four vehicles submitted by Lagonda, Bedford and two by AEC.

One of the AEC offerings was the Heavy cockatrice; an armored 6x6 Matador with a turret mounted Flamethrower and twin Lewis guns as presented here.

Draw in in Fusion 360 at 1/56 scale.

No commercial use, personal use only, may not be shared, uploaded or otherwise distributed.
