ACW Sweet Gum mortar 28mm
The Sweet gum mortar was a peculiar weapon uses for the first time at the Siege of Vicksburg in July of 1863. This product present eight files for this mortar in eight different configurations.

This mortars were produced with two and three iron ring reinforcemnts. The first mortars used at the Siege of Vicksburg in July of 1863 were not mounted on wooden beds but burried into the ground to keep them in position. For that reason I have modeled one of each with a ground base. Additionally I have included two plain ones for you to place it as wish on your models.
This set includes.
- 1 two rings mortar on a wooden bed at low angle
- 1 two rings mortar on a wooden bed at high angle
- 1 three rings mortar on a wooden bed at low angle
- 1 three rings mortar on a wooden bed at high angle
- 1 two rings burried mortar
- 1 three rings burried mortar
- 1 two rings mortar without bed
- 1 three rings mortar without bed
The mortars without bed are presented just in case you would like to place in any other configuration in your diorama or wargame table.
