28mm 1940 french regular infantry combat group 1

Five 28mm french regular soldier armed with MAS 36 rifle, wearing knapsack"haversac" model 1935 and tools in accordance with the regulations and the organization of a combat group (shovels, pickaxes and bill hooks).

You will find in this set a half group of regular french soldier, who can represent an active division, with better armement. The MAS36 is indeed a more effective rifle than the Lebel 1886 who equipe my "reserve french infantry". These soldiers also wear tunics of 1935 model, as the "havresac". A more modern equipment than the reserve infantry in short. They are led by Corporal Marcel Lavaud, who never gives up his pipe, even in combat!
