Take one failed tank hull, stretch it considerably and jam in a 7 ton 12,8cm flak gun and you get the 12.8 cm Selbstfahrlafette auf VK 30.01(H) otherwise known as "Sturer Emil". Two were built names Max and Moritz and they soldiered on for a significant time given they were experimental having claimed a lot of tank kills in a relatively short period.
