Puma tracked IFV (Germany)

The Puma is a German infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) (Schützenpanzer or SPz) designed to replace the Marder IFVs currently in service with the German Army. It is also a contender for use by the US Army and other nations. This is a detailed 1:100 design, offered in two versions for printing either on a resin or fdm printer.

Over 500 Pumas have been ordered for the German Army, and it is considered to be one of the best protected IFVs in service anywhere. Different armour packages can be mounted to suit the operational requirements and to give strategic mobility.  It is armed with a 30mm canon, firing a range of ammunition.

The design is offered in two versions.  The first is highly integrated, hollow and with drainage holes for resin printing. The second provides separate track assemblies for ease of printing on fdm printers.  In both cases a separate, rotatable turret is provided.  In the fdm version, the rear bar armour is provided as a separate component, again to ease printing.  The track assembly is designed for ease of fitting, and is a partial representation of the suspension system, wheels and tracks.

The product is offered for personal, non-commercial use.  Derivative designs for personal use may be generated, but neither the original nor derivatives may be shared with others.  Attribution of the design is requested should printed models be exhibited or otherwise shared.  Models printed from this design or derivatives may not be sold commercially.
