Landing Craft Tank - Mk2
Waterline-model of Landing Craft Tank (Mk2). A total of 73 Mk2's have been built, they could carry 5 x 30-ton or 4 x 40-ton or 3 x 50-ton tanks or 9 trucks or 254 ton of cargo. Armament 2 x single 2 pounder pom-pom or 2 x single Bofors 40 mm.
The model has a somewhat raised tank-deck, this was needed to make it printable as a waterline model. As in the original setup the tank-deck is below the waterline and that would be a problem on the gaming-table.
The model does NOT include the supports and canvas cover of the Tank-deck, as those support would be to thin to print with an FDM-printer. And for war-gaming having access to the tank-deck is needed anyway to make sure you can place and access your tanks and trucks.

The model is designed with FDM printing in mind. Some parts are rather small and you will need perfect bed-adhesion to print those parts. You can off-course print the parts with a resin printer if you want, but I have only test-printed the model on a FDM printer.
There are ~ 100 separate parts you will need to print. Depending a bit on the items you want to add to the deck. This means you will need to glue to model together and requires some intermediate modelling skills. The completed model is 48 cm long and 9 cm wide. The LCT's came in many small setups, so you can play a bit with the model to build it in specific historical setup. I have added some extra parts which you can use.
A complete hull is provide so you can cut it to fit your own printer bed. But I also added the hull cut in 3 parts, which you best print vertical with a small brim for extra bed-adhesion. Using tree-support in Cura gives the best results for me.
Test-print pictures included (Printed on a Creality Ender 5 in 020 and 016 layer). I did not yet have time to base-coat and paint the model.
