French TRM 10000 truck family
1:100 designs of variants of the post-war French Renault TRM 10000 truck, in versions suitable for fdm and resin printing. This 10-tonne truck was used by the French armed forces since 1987. It is deployed both as a troop transport and logistics vehicle.
The TRM 10000 6×6 French military truck is manufactured by Renault Trucks and is the successor to the TRM 9000. It is primarily intended for transporting military loads, but there are also versions for other tasks. The production of the TRM 10 000 began in 1985. It was developed from the earlier nine-ton TRM 9000, which was intended mainly for export. It differs from the extended wheelbase by an improved transmission and a more powerful engine.
Originally the French armed forces planned to procure 5000 trucks, but only about 1,000 vehicles were finally ordered. The TRM 10 000 was produced in several variants. It can carry up to 24 soldiers on benches in the back. A special version with extended cab was designed as a tractor for the French Field Howitzer Canon 155 TRF1.
A number of variants are offered in this package. Each variant comes in a fully integrated version for resin printing, or one with separate wheels to ease printing on fdm printers. Each version is offered with an integrated cab, or with a separate cab top to ease painting of the cab interior if so desired. The level of detail is good and optimised for 1:100 printing, though it will print well at larger scales.
Variants are: basic truck with a high sided cargo area, with and without canvas tile; basic truck with low sided cargo area, large cab truck with low cargo area (often used as an artillery tractor); demountable rack truck basic; demountable rack truck with mounted rack; demountable rack truck with large tank container. Other variants can be considered if requested.
The product is offered for personal, non-commercial use. Derivative designs for personal use may be generated, but neither the original nor derivatives may be shared with others. Attribution of the design is requested should printed models be exhibited or otherwise shared. Models printed from this design or derivatives may not be sold commercially.
