Fokker T.IVa

Fokker T-IVa torpedo bomber/maritime reconnaissance floatplane, one of the types of aircraft available but not used by the Dutch in 1942 during the defense of the Dutch East Indies.

The Dutch had 10 T-IVa's available in the Dutch East Indies by end of 1941, powered by two 750 hp Wright Cyclon engines, it carried three 7.92 mm Machine guns, in the nose, dorsal and ventral positions. It could carry 800kg Bombs (internally) or 1 torpedo externally.

It was a reliable and seaworthy aircraft, but not used in the defense against the Japanese onslaught. All remaining T-IVa's were destroyed by the their crew in March 1942.

The aircraft model has been prepared and detailed in 1/1000 scale. A 1/1000 scale in-flight model is included.

Print ready in 1/1200, meaning including bases and supported files are provided in 1/1200 scale. Which I used for test-printing. They worked fine for me, but no guarantee the files work on your own printer, so might be best you create your own supported files.

3 types of bases are provided, hexagonal, square or round and there is an option for a low (2 cm) or high (3 cm) base. A Recce option (1 or 2 aircraft in a wing) and Bomber option and a Torpedo Bomber option (2 aircraft in a wing) are included. Also a 3 aircraft wing is provided, but this might be a bit to broad to be useful. Only the 2-aircraft wing is pre-supported.

I have included the 3 bases (round, hexagonal, square) without text. You can add your text or letters if you want.

Test-printed using a Anycubic Mono SE using Anycubic basic resin, 0.04mm layer.
