Enterprise-class sixth rate frigate (28 gun) 1775 - 1828

Enterprise-class sixth rate frigates of the British Navy.
A series of 27 ships ordered and built from 1771 to 1791. In service from 1775 through to 1828. Consisted of 28 guns and after 1780 2 carronades were added.

• Version 5 (20/10/2020). High and low hull versions, hull paint lines, improved deck details and detailed stern windows


• Version 4 (08/02/2020). Added deck planking, detailed windows on the resin version, raised netting around the bow/sides and exaggerated hull lines to help painting (see 3d pictures for the latest additions)


• Version 3 (07/11/2019). Fixed sail mesh issue and added text file with the mast rod lengths. Updated 07/11/2019


• Version 2 (04/11/2019). Uploaded with  cannons and gunports added.

Ship built names were: Siren, Fox, Surprise, Enterprise, Actaeon, Proserpine, Medea, Andromeda, Aurora, Sibyl, Brilliant, Pomona, Crescent, Nemesis, Resource, Mercury, Pegasus, Cyclops, Vestal, Laurel, Thisbe, Circe, Rose, Hussar, Alligator, Dido and Lapwing.

The ship hull and shape was built as accurately as possible to admiralty plans. The hull under the waterline was then removed and the upper parts were simplified in detail at the bow, thickened in the stern, windows exaggerated, and deck detail exaggerated. All this to be able to print out at 1:700 (and larger) scales. Smaller scales are possible but would likely require a resin printer for the best results.

Contains: 1:700 scale hull,  masts with sails, the bowsprit mast and sails and the mizzen gaff/spanker sail. The sails are of a generic 6th rate size. Does not include the ratlines, flags or rigging string. No supports are usually required on any part of the fdm print.
