Curtis Hawk P36 / H75A

Curtiss Hawk 75A, one of the types of aircraft used by the Dutch in 1942 during the defense of the Dutch East Indies.

The Dutch ordered 24 Hawks, powered by 1200 hp Cyclons, 4 x .303 inch MG's and the option to carry a total of 200 kg of bombs (8 x 25kg).

The Dutch Hawks saw action over Malacca, Sumatra and Java, successfully bombing the railroad and intercepting bombers. The Dutch Hawks, together with USAAF, RAF and ML aircraft, fought Japanese bombers and fighters over Surabaja.

When the Java capitulated only 2 Hawks remained, which have probably been used by the Japanese for some testing.

The Model was used by the United States the Pacific theater, and many other countries operated Hawks.

The aircraft model has been prepared and detailed in 1/1000 scale. A 1/1000 scale in-flight model is included.

Print ready in 1/1200, meaning including bases and supported files are provided in 1/1200 scale. Which I used for testprinting. They worked fine for me, but no guarantee the files work on your own printer, so might be best you create your own supported files.

3 types of bases are provided, hexagonal, square or round and there is an option for a low (2 cm) or high (3 cm) base. A Fighter option (4 aircraft in a wing, use base left or right) and Dive-Bomber option (3 aircraft in a wing, use Base-Mid-D) are included.

I have included the 3 bases (round, hexagonal, square) without text. You can add your text or letters if you want.

The four aircraft wing has a left and a right option, this is done to create a stable model on the gaming-table, make sure you use the correct Base.  The mid-wing and left-wing are provided supported, just mirror the left-wing in your slicer to get the right-wing version.

Test-printed using a Anycubic Mono SE using Anycubic basic resin, 0.04mm layer.
