AML-60 and AML-90 armoured cars (French / SA etc.)
1:100 designs of variants of the French AML armoured car, with alternative hulls and turrets. The vehicle was used by many countries, mainly France and South Africa, but also many African states. Versions for resin and fdm printing are provided.
The Panhard AML 60/90 is a French light armoured car with permanent 4x4 drive which gives it exceptional mobility. It can carry either a 90 mm quick firing low pressure gun, or a 60 mm breech loading mortar as its main weapon. Night vision equipment provides effective night time operations, and it is provided with an excellent telecommunications system. Panhard started the production of the AML in 1960. Since then over 4000 vehicles were built and manufacture continues for export. The AML 60/90 have been exported to over 30 countries. 1300 AML 60/90 were also built under licence by South Africa under the name of Eland 60/90.
It should be noted that this is a relatively small model, and that care will be required when printing, especially using fdm.
Alternative turrets are provided for the 90mm gun and the 60mm mortar, and additional variants can be provided if required.
The product is offered for personal, non-commercial use. Derivative designs for personal use may be generated, but neither the original nor derivatives may be shared with others. Attribution of the design is requested should printed models be exhibited or otherwise shared. Models printed from this design or derivatives may not be sold commercially.
