Soviet B-4 203mm howitzer - 28mm scale

This file is a rework of Bergman’s 1/100th scale .stl for the Soviet B-4 203mm Howitzer. This mammoth gun would not normally be expected to be seen on a tactical wargaming table, but photographic proof shows that the Soviet Army did employ them in a direct fire role, particularly in the Battle of Berlin in 1945.

I started with Bergman’s file, upsized the model to a complete 1/56th scale. I cut the file into seven parts, to optimize for FDM printing. All fit into assembly lugs I created. I created a new barrel to show more detail than the original file allowed at the smaller scale. I also added detail to the tracks.

** Please ensure you assemble the tracks with the four bogies down and the two idler wheels up **!

Please refer to the photo of the model’s parts I have included. I would suggest printing at .15mm or finer. I printed the test model at .2mm and it is fine but a higher resolution would be best.

Thanks again to Bergman for his trove of gems!
