Soviet Anti-Tank Dog Mines * Updated February 2021 *

** February 2021 - this file has been updated with new .stls of a new model specifically for resin printing **

This is a 28mm model of a WW2 Soviet Anti Tank dog. If you are not familiar with the Red Army's use of this weapon, here is a good overview:

The FDM file is based on a file of a husky, on thingiverse, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1871975, and is used in accordance with the posted license.

I thank the creators of both files for their work.
Please be sure to use supports when printing, and due to the model's small size, use at least a fine (0.1mm) layer on filament prints
When printing, as always, be very careful removing supports - it is tricky as the supports are under the torso and between the legs.

In both cases I reinforced the base design - legs, tail, ears, etc; based in on a 25mm disk; and crafted the explosive pack the dogs carried.

FDM:

  • Please print on fine or even extra fine settings.

  • Please be sure to use supports when printing

  • When printing, as always, be very careful removing supports - it is tricky as the supports are under the torso and between the legs.

Resin :

  • I included the basic file, plus a mirrored copy for some variation

  • the files include ones with pre-supported .stls.
