Nakajima B5N Kate
Nakajima B5N (Type 97 Carrier Attack Bomber), one of the types of aircraft available and used by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) in WW2. It was used in both Bomber and Torpedo bomber roles.
A total of 1149 have been build.
Armament consisted of one .30 inch Type 92 machine gun in the rear dorsal position. Some B5N1 also had two Type 97 machine guns in the wings. It could carry up to 800 kg bombs, or 1 800 kg Type 91 Torpedo.

The aircraft model has been prepared and detailed in 1/1000 scale. 1/1000 scale in-flight model, on wheels and on wheels with raised wings are included. You can scale the model to 1/1800 and add them to your 1/1800 scale Carriers. (Scale down to 56%)
Print ready in 1/1200, meaning including bases and supported files are provided in 1/1200 scale. Which I used for test-printing. They worked fine for me, but no guarantee the files work on your own printer, so might be best you create your own supported files.
3 types of bases are provided, hexagonal, square or round and there is an option for a low (2 cm) or high (3 cm) base. One, two, three and 4 aircraft wings are provided, the four aircraft wing has a left and a right option, this is done to create a stable model on the gaming-table, make sure you use the correct Base for the 4 aircraft wings.
I have included the 3 bases (round, hexagonal, square) without text. You can add your text or letters if you want.
Test-printed using a Anycubic Mono SE using Anycubic basic resin, 0.04mm layer.
Dec 2025 - I have added extra aircraft flight, with a bit more support added to the tail. As in some case the tail would break to easy when using standard Resin.
