IJN Akatsuki class Destroyer
- Description
- Files
The Fubuki class destroyers were a class of 24 ships of the IJN. The Fubuki class consisted of 3 sub-types. This model represents the Akatsuki sub-class
Type I - Fubuki, 10 DD's, none survived WW2
Type II - Ayanami, 10 DD's, 1 survived WW2
Type III - Akatsuki, 4 DD's, 1 survived WW2
The model is based on the Type III version, but it should be noted that the minimal differences would not be visible anyway in the small wargaming scale.

Non Commercial and personal use only.
The model is provided in 1/1000 scale and is Resin print only.
1/1800 - resize to 55,56%
1/1200 - resize to 83,5%
There are 3 bases provided, text recessed and the text raised. I used the recessed version for FDM printed bases. Finally a base without text is also included. Do not forget to also re-scale the bases if you print in 1/1200 or 1/1800 scale.
There is no supported file provided and you will need to create your own, best printed at an 60 degree orientation.
The base was printed on an Ender 5 pro (0.16 mm layer) standard PLA. But could also be printed in Resin if you want (no supported file provided)
