Dornier Do 24

Dornier Do 24 flying boat, one of the types of aircraft used by the Dutch in 1942 during the defense of the Dutch East Indies.

The Dutch had 37 Dorniers active in the East, powered by three 1000 hp Wright Cyclon engines, it carried one 20mm gun in the dorsal turret, and two 7.92 mm Machine guns, 1 in the nose turret and 1 in the tail gun position.  1200 kg of bombs under the wings.

The Dornier X-32 sunk the IJN destroyer Shinonome on 17 December 1942.

The aircraft model has been prepared and detailed in 1/1000 scale. A 1/1000 scale in-flight model is included.

Print ready in 1/1200, meaning including bases and supported files are provided in 1/1200 scale. Which I used for test-printing. They worked fine for me, but no guarantee the files work on your own printer, so might be best you create your own supported files.

3 types of bases are provided, hexagonal, square or round and there is an option for a low (2 cm) or high (3 cm) base. A Recce option (1 or 2 aircraft in a wing) and Dive-Bomber option (2 aircraft in a wing) are included.

I have included the 3 bases (round, hexagonal, square) without text. You can add your text or letters if you want.

Test-printed using a Anycubic Mono SE using Anycubic basic resin, 0.04mm layer.
