Deweycats A 15 Crusader Tank Combo-Pack

The British A15 cruiser tank, a.k.a. the Crusader, has a mixed reputation, both historically and in tabletop gaming. Introduced to service in North Africa in 1941, the earlier versions suffered from reliability problems, exacerbated by manufacturing issues, lack of spare parts, and the harsh desert environment.
The later versions were up gunned with a 6 pounder, and the Crusader Mark III version was a match for the Pz IIIs in the desert (and in Bolt action).
As the profusion of American M3 Grants and M4 Shermans became available in 1943, the Crusader was repurposed into mobile AA platforms, as well as a successful gun tractor. Over 5,000 models were produced by the end of 1943.
This .stl pack offers three versions of the Crusader; with two hull options.
The hull options are either with the sand shields used in North Africa, and the hull without same.
The turrets include the Mk III with the six pounder ATG, the Mk 1 A/A turret, open topped with a 40 mm Bofors heavy auto cannon, and the Mk II A/A version, with twin 20mm light auto cannons.
The .stl pack has sperate files for resin or FDM printing; the FDM files have simplified tracks and reinforced gun stls – thicker barrels, etc. The FDM Mk III turret is split horizontally to allow better bed adhesions.
Fairly basic gunner figure .stls are included in the resin pack for the Mk I and Mk II A/A turrets.

Printing Tips

There are files included for both filament and resin printing
• Please note the pre-supported files for resin printing may not be ideal for your printer, resin, or settings. They are provided as a courtesy only, and while they worked well for me, your results may vary.
• Always clean support material away carefully and test fit before gluing.
• The Mk II FDM turret pack does not include the sights, as they are too delicate for FDM printing.
