CSS General Sterling Price

Captured by the Yankees!

Originally built as Laurent Millaudon, she was acquired by the Confederates, converted to a cottonclad ram and assigned to the River Defense Fleet. She mostly faced the same future as the rest of the RDF, Plum Point Bend, Fort Pillow, and Memphis. During the Battle of Memphis, she was rammed by USS Queen of the West and sank on a sandbar. Rather than leaving her to rot away here, she would be taken and raised by the Yankees and placed into their service. In Yankee service, she would support the Vicksburg Campaign and the Red River Campaign where he would accidentally ram and sink USS Conestoga. She would then go on to patrol the lower Mississippi and be decomissioned in 1865. She was sold in 1866.

This ship is modeled in 1/600 scale and can be printed using any resin or FDM printer. Ship comes with and without base.

When printing in FDM, some details may be too small to print with a stock 0.4mm nozzle.
