AH-1F Cobra

15mm compatible AH-1F model for resin printers, with full hollowing, supports, and BF flight stand compatibility.

The AH-1 cobra was arguably the first attack helicopter ever designed. Originally seeing service in Vietnam in the 1960s, by the 1980s it had seen multiple upgrades and redesigns in attempts to keep it up to date. The version depicted here is the AH-1F (though it can pass for an S variant) as used by the Israeli Air Force.

This model features thorough hollowing, drain holes, and careful support placement to ensure optimal print quality. Thought has been put into making the components easy to paint, and detail is deeply recessed and exaggerated to avoid being drowned in thick paint.

Note that due to the fragility of printed resin, the wind cocks that protrude from the sides of the cockpit have been omitted.

Included in this download are all the files you will need to print the AH-1F.

Files come in supported and unsupported formats.

These models are optimized for detail at 1/100 or 15mm scale on a resin printer, but they should scale up well too.
