The 2S3 Akatsiya is fitted with the D-22 152 mm/L27 howitzer, which is a modified variant of the D-20 towed gun-howitzer. It was produced in large numbers until production ceased in 1993. Also it was widely exported. The 2S3 Akatsiya is currently in service with a number of countries, including Russia. The 2S3 Akatsiya uses a modified tracked chassis of the Krug (SA-4 Ganef) surface-to-air missile system (future offering).
Two variants of the design are offered to suit the requirements of resin and fdm printers. In both cases the turret is a separate component to permit rotation. The hull is integrated for resin printing (hollowed out), but the suspension is separate in the fdm file (locating lugs are provided). The turret has a separate gun to permit setting at any required elevation.
The product is offered for personal, non-commercial use. Derivative designs for personal use may be generated, but neither the original nor derivatives may be shared with others. Attribution of the design is requested should printed models be exhibited or otherwise shared. Models printed from this design or derivatives may not be sold commercially.

As with the other models from this seller, the mesh is a total mess. Liberal use of dubious modeling tools has corrupted many faces resulting in a model is is nearly impossible to remove holes from, hollow, or split up for easier, cheaper printing.
However, The detail level on this particular model is about right for 1:100, though it could certainly be improved.
