USS Milwaukee
Missed Mobile Bay...
USS Milwaukee was built and launched late in the war, and therefore would see no extensive action. She would miss the Battle of Mobile Bay, arriving in Mobile in January 1865. The Confederates had extensively fortified and mined rivers all around Mobile. Milwaukee was sent on a mission up one of these rivers to drive off several supply transports when, on the return trip, she struck a mine in an area that had been previously cleared. Her wreck was raised in 1868 and her armor was used in the construction of the Eads Bridge connecting East St. Louis and St. Louis.
This ship is modeled in 1/600 scale and can be printed using any resin or FDM printer. Ship comes with and without base.
When printing in FDM, some details may be too small to print with a stock 0.4mm nozzle.
