Churchill Mk. III - Desert Mods

The Churchill Mk. III was a heavy infantry tank developed by the British during World War 2. The vehicle made its debut at the 2nd Battle of El Alamein, where 6 participated in the fighting. The 57mm 6-pdr cannon was more than powerful enough to engage most axis vehicles participating in the battle, even at long range. The Churchill possessed thick, albeit flat armor, resulting in poor mobility and fuel economy, but making the vehicle immune to all but the most powerful German cannons.

In Armored Advance:
Churchill III acts as a heavily armored breakthrough tank, capable of deflecting the majority of incoming projectiles, particularly when angling its armor. Furthermore, the vehicle was a large pool of health, meaning it is able to survive several penetrating hits. The vehicle's cannon is a double-edged sword, on one hand it has enough penetration power to pierce hostile vehicles even at long range, however, being a lower caliber gun, the damage is not particularly high when it does hit an enemy. The vehicle's armor protection and moderate firepower are offset by it being incredibly slow, maxing out at 6" of movement per turn when both actions are spent this way. The tank also costs a fair amount of requisition to field, which will reduce the player's ability to field other armor.

This 1/72 scale model of the Churchill III seeks to provide a detailed representation of the vehicle for tabletop wargaming without sacrificing structural integrity or durability. The model comes hollow and is designed for resin printing.
