Stormartillerivagn m/43 (SAV m/43)

The Swedish Stormartillerivagn m/43  Was a Swedish atempt at a bringing artillery support closer to the frontline. It was based on a Stridsvagn m/41 SII chassis, a Swedish license built version of the Czechoslovak TNH.

Armaments were first the Bofors 7.5mm m/02 canon, later replaced by the 10.5cm m/44 gun from Bofors.

It was used by the artillery until the early 50s when transfered to the Armoured regiments, were it was in use until the early 1970s.

I have added some alternative gear that can be glued to the model, a piece of track, a spare road wheel and a storage box that were used on the back.

Images of the different stowage etc can be found here, also excellent pictures.

(in Swedish but google translate is your friend)
