Sdkfz 222 Armoured Car

This is a derivative file of the German Sdkfz 222 Armoured car. I started with two different files; that of lava 808 www.thingiverse.com/thing:2835885 and FMWP www.thingiverse.com/thing:3035965.
I reworked the files, to 28mm. reworked the turret and created new barrels, anti-grenade grid, separate wheels and axles, and optimized it for FDM printing.
My thanks for the two original creators for their work.
This file is meant for FDM printing, at 0.1 mm layers, with supports.

The Sdkfz 222 light armoured car was used by Germany as well as several of their allies. It was also purchased and employed in the late 1930s by the Nationalist Chinese (“KMT”), hence the markings on the test print.

This is a great model. I printed it on a Creality CR-6SE with PLA using the minis profile from Fat Dragon Games. All parts came out very clean and the supports were easily removed. I recommend some filing or sand paper on the rough spots where the supports attached if they are very visible (like under the gun barrels.). It was a quick print too. Excellent work.
