Rheinmetall MAN Military Trucks
(HX series vehicles) HX60 HX77, HX58
The HX family are a range of purpose-designed tactical military trucks manufactured by Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles. In service with the NZDF as the Medium-Heavy Operational Vehicle (MHOV) fleet.
There are 3 common variants of this vehicle in NZDF service, the HX60, HX50, and HX77.
All are fitted out in various configurations, depending on purpose and role.
There are 4 vehicle types in this pack a HX60 with canopy, HX60 flat deck, HX58, and HX77. Additionally, I’ve included two forms of flat-rack that goes with the HX77 EPLS (chunky or finer detail version). Each model is provided/designed at 1:10 scale, with robust detail for printing at small scales.
Where possible, the models have been designed from manuals, and detailed walkaround photos. I have been as accurate as I can, I have also made design decisions to thicken up some components for durability when printing.
Overall, this model is intended for smaller scale printing.
Most models are test printed in resin (anycubic photon mono, grey standard) and pre-supported in 1:72, 1:100, 1:150(ish), 1:200. Pre-supported resin print files are provided, but feel free to support your own model in your printer. I make no guarantees for the presupported models. They worked for my test printing, I suggest you detail your own supports to suit your printer and settings.
Currently in service in various forms in Australia, Austria, Denmark, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and others.
