Pinzgauer 6x6

Light Operational Vehicle (LOV) set of 4 types

The Pinzgauer is a light military vehicle that is used to carry out transport, command and control, liaison, replenishment, and administrative tasks. 326 Pinzgauers (also known as LOVs - Light Operational Vehicles) were introduced into service with the New Zealand Defence Force between 2004 and 2006.

There are currently 11 variants of the vehicle, of which the majority are General Service (GS) or Command and Control (C2). There are also a number of Ambulance and Shelter vehicles in the fleet. Two variants of the Armoured Pinzgauer were bought to provide increased protection should the situation require it.

From personal experience, this is one of the most capable off-road vehicles I’ve ever driven. On road? Not so much.

There are 3 vehicle types in this pack a GS (canopy top) and two versions of the C2 (hard top), each model is provided/designed at 1:10 scale, with robust detail for printing at small scales.

Where possible, the models have been designed from manuals, from detailed walkaround photos, and personal experience (overseas operations as a driver/operator). I have been as accurate as I can, I have also made design decisions to thicken up some components for durability when printing.

Overall, this model is intended for smaller scale printing.

Test printed in resin (anycubic photon mono, grey standard) and pre-supported in 1:72, 1:100, 1:150(ish), 1:200. Pre-supported resin print files are provided, but feel free to support your own model in your printer. I make no guarantees for the presupported models. They worked for my test printing, I suggest you detail your own supports to suit your printer and settings.

Currently in service in various forms in Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malaysia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Oman, United Kingdom, United States and others
