Utrecht Dutch Battleship (Proposed) - Waterline
Utrecht
I am adding the rest of my models to this site (see www.magpiedesigner.com for details). If you are interested in a particular model please let me know and I'll move it up the queue.
Ship name
This model is a proposed Dutch vessel. In mid 1030's the Dutch considered making a Battleship based on the German Gneisenau class BB. Obviously, it went nowhere but this is my interpretation of what that vessel might have looked like. I have named this vessel "Utrecht".
Waterline
See my other listings for alternative bases (Wide, Deep and Thin)
Each of the above versions has four files:
Printing
Designed to be printed with a Layer Thickness of .03 mm, no supports required. I have added some very thin (0.3mm diameter) supports under things like the main gun barrels and aircraft wings. These are easy to remove with a scalpel or craft knife.
It can be rescaled to 1:2400 but care would be needed with the smaller parts.
The model has been run thru 3D builder and successfully printed.
