M7 Priest - Late Production
The M7 Priest was designed as a solution to provide armoured mobile artillery support, and to simplify design and production it was built off the chassis of the M3 Grant/Lee medium tank.
The late production variant features numerous changes from the earlier production models such as a cast frontal casing, heavy duty suspension, late style tracks, adapted pulpit ring, new headlights and a different tool stowage arrangement.
