Java Class Light Cruiser - Hr.Ms.Java & Hr.Ms.Sumatra
The Java class Light cruisers were a class of 2 ships of the Netherlands Royal Navy. Only Hr.Ms. Java participated in real actions during WW2. Due to propulsion problems Hr.Ms. Sumatra never participated in any action, she did transport the Royal family to Canada after the German invasion in 1940. In the end she was scuttled at the cost of Normandy to protect the artificial Mulberry Harbor build as part of Operation Overlord. Sumatra's gun were used to replace the worn out guns of the Flores-Class gunboats.
Hr.Ms.Java and Hr.Ms.Sumatra had a different AA deck layout. Java had 4 x twin Bofors 40mm AA, Sumatra had 6 x single Bofor 40 mm. Both models are included.
Hr.Ms. Java, sunk during the Battle of the Java Sea, Feb 1942
Hr.Ms. Sumatra, scuttled June 1944 as part of a gooseberry pier during Operation Overlord

The models are provided in 1/1000 scale and are Resin print only. Java and Sumatra are 2 different models. (FDM for the base)
1/1800 - resize to 55,56%
1/1200 - resize to 83,5%
There are named bases provided, one per Cruiser. And each base comes in 2 versions. Text recessed and the raised. I used the recessed version for FDM printed bases. Finally a base without text and a generic Java class text is also included. Do not forget to also re-scale the bases if you print in 1/1200 or 1/1800 scale.
Included 1/1800 scale pre-supported models which I used for the test-prints on my Anycubic Mono SE (0.05mm layer) using standard resin. Use at your own risk, might be best you create your own supported files, which prints best on you own printer. Some parts are rather delicate, mainly the gun barrels, and you will need to remove support carefully.
The base was printed on an Ender 5 pro (0.16 mm layer) standard PLA.
