Dutch 7,5 cm tl nr 1 (Vickers Model 1932, 7.5 cm Anti Aircraft gun)

  • Description
  • Files
Dutch designation – 7,5 cm Vickers tl nr 2.

A total of 27 batteries 7,5 cm AA guns were available in May 1940. 72 pieces Vickers 7,5 cm tl nr 1 and 12 pieces Skoda 7,5 cm Anti Aircraft guns.

The model is highly detailed and offers a gun in a ready to fire setup and a transport version. Also included a fire-control-unit, range-finder, 75 cm Searchlight and a model for a Spandau M/08 (Dutch designation Spandau M.25) on a tripod. With these items you will be able to print and setup a full Dutch Anti Aircraft Battery as used in May 1940.

The gun was also used by Belgium, Republic of China, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Soviet Union, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom. But these might have different wheels and different fire control units.

Resin-print only.
The overall design is based on pictures and details of the Dutch version of the gun from the "Netherlands Institute of Military History”
I have made the legs a bit shorter as the guns needed to fit on a 6 x 5 cm wargaming base. All other measurements are as historical correct as possible.
An extra support part is included (barrel-support) to make the model a bit more strong on the wargaming table, this was not part of the real gun.

Test printed on an Anycubic Mono SE in 0.05mm layer using Anycubic Basic Resin. The Spandau M.25 is a delicate model, might be best printed with a more flexible resin.

Bases are NOT included.

I have added files with support for resin printing of the Extra items, those worked fine for me. There are NO supported files provided for the gun. Feel free to use those files, but remember those are tuned to print good on my own printer. So might be better to add your own support based on the experience with your own 3D-resin-printer.
