150 mm X 150 mm (6"x6") template - useful for games like Flames of War artillery bombardments.
This 3d templates steps over the models so allowing it to remain in position while you work out which of the targets has been hit. It could also be a framework for a visual artillery bombardment - add smoke and explosions - and the template becomes part of the action terrain.
