African Queen 35ft boat easy print
Easy to print African Queen. Some details have been changed for looks/ printability.
The boat originally named "Livingston" and modified for use in the movie "African Queen".
As usual the hull is sperate in the filament version and multi-mesh split in the resin files. The separate hull can also be used for a flipped boat for when your characters are in real trouble...
The steam engine and controller can be swapped out for the included more modern engine-box and pilot stand. If you do so I would also remove (or not add) the tiller. The mast is up to you as plenty of modern-engined boats still keep the stubby mast.
The deck has been flattened and raised slightly to make this playable as a waterline model and print a little nicer.
Image is of models printed in 1/52 with 3dbreed figure and a 1/52 truescale figure for scale.
The standard files are designed to print AS-IS on filament, no additional supports required.
The “resin” files are for those of you that are printing with resin printers and would prefer the assembled models. Resin files are not pre-supported unless otherwise noted.
Please remember that unless otherwise noted these models are uploaded at 1/100, and you need to scale it to match your preferred play-scale.
1/72= 139% (“standard” 20mm)
1/64= 156%
1/56 = 179% (“standard” 28mm)
1/52 = 192% (my preferred scale for 28mm heroic)
1/48 = 208%
Should you have any trouble with them, please feel free to contact me.
