28mm Italian cannone 65/17 with 4 crew included
This is a 28mm Italian cannone 65/17 modello 13 mountain gun with Italian crew.
It is scaled to match in with Warlord plastics.
The gun comes in 4 parts: the gun and carriage, gun shield and the wheels and needs assembly.
Historical photos show the gun being used with and without the shield, so I have made the shield separate so you have the choice.
I have also included 4 crew including an officer.
This has been designed with RESIN printing in mind. I have tested it on a Elegoo Mars and it prints fine.
I have included my tropical, Adrian and Alpini heads and helms so you can swap out if you wish using suitable software or physically.
The cannone 65/17 modello 13 was Italy's main infantry gun. It was designed as a mountain gun and to be light and easy to handle. However, it was used in just about all theatres.
It was an effective weapon and dispatched itself well on the battlefield. Its main drawback was it's unusual calibre which required specific ammunition.
It was also used in the Spanish Civil War and WW1 and also used by Germany after the fall of Italy.
The gun is scaled correctly for 1:56 or 28mm. It was a very small gun. If you want, you could scale it by about 105% and it still sit nicely on a 60mm base.
