28mm Dark Age Longship

This model is based on the Kvalsund ship dated from the 8th century. Although small by the standards of later centuries, ships of this style are perfectly suited for raiding along shallow coastal waters and up rivers. This longship has 10 rowing benches and would carry a crew of 25-30 men.

This file contains four variations of the base hull, allowing you to print Longships with and without masts, and with and without rowing benches.

Includes optional Shields, Oars, "T" Uprights, Beasts and Crosses

Dimensions: 310 x 55mm (12 x 2 1/8″)

Printable without supports. Printable at 15mm

Can be built with rigging and sail if desired. Requires 6mm x 140mm (1/4″ x 5″) dowel, 4mm x 100mm (5/32″ x 4″) dowel and elastic thread for the rigging and paper for the sail. Please note, the dowels and fittings will be tight.
