1:1800 Takao Class Heavy Cruiser

the Takao class heavy cruisers were designed and built in the 1930s to serve as fleet scouts for the imperial Japanese navy. They gave sterling service throughout the war until the class was sidelined due to sinking or damage prior to the battle of leyte gulf.

Featured within are two versions: Takao as she appeared in 1944, and a fictional rebuild from 1972, presuming she had survived the war and been salvaged back into service later in life, featuring missile launchers, a hangar, radars and more.

Product is intended at 1:1800 scale, it can be scaled up or down with commensurate loss of detail.
