An amalgamated stacking tray system to store anything from miniatures to terrain that I had formerly posted as various separate files on Thingiverse. Some folks have even suggested these are very usable for paper craft storage such as scrap booking. I designed these for my own personal use and share them with you for your own personal use. This file contains several different depths of seated trays and one dust lid. The provided divider inserts also allow for vertical storage of Fat Dragon Games DragonLock Dungeon Tiles within some trays. Most of the trays can be produced on one 24″ x 18″ (Arch C) sheet with the exception of the 3″ and 4″ depth trays which span two sheets. The trays can be made of MDF or other safe-to-laser cut material. The pattern is designed with a 0.5″ safety margin around the edge of the frame.
Formatted for cutting at 300 DPI on 3mm (.125″ or eighth inch) thick MDF, ply or acrylic using 24″ x 18″ (Arch C sheet size) the size across the bed of an Epilog Helix that I normally use. I have provided the PDF, AI and the SVG file that I converted online at https://cloudconvert.com/vsd-to-svg.
This file is provided at a nominal fee for personal hobby use and is shared “as is”. Proceeds from the sale of this pattern will be given to a gaming related charity. It is also published under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/. “As is” means that I am not obligated to redesign this product or make any formatting changes by request, unless…
a) I produced something that has a blatant error within it,
b) I have the free time,
c) You ask nicely, and/or,
d) We come to some sort of mutually beneficial agreement. Commissions might also be considered.
In no way is this pattern approved or endorsed by Fat Dragon Games, Ikea or it’s designers of Expedit or Kallax book cases. The use here of their company or product names is in no way meant to be a challenge to their copyright or license. It is a mere fact that these trays are designed to fit within those square spaces.
