The Starstreak High-velocity missile was developed as a successor to the Javelin system for use by the Royal Artillery in both Regular and Territorial Army units. It remains the fastest short-range missile in the world, flying at speeds in excess of Mach 4. It uses three laser-beam riding submunitions, and has been in service since 1997. It is deployed as a three-round lightweight launcher and a man-portable version. A self-propelled version was developed using the Alvis Stormer chassis (a stretched version of the Scorpion family, which is available on this site). Further information is available at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starstreak and https://www.armyrecognition.com/british_united_kingdom_missile_systems_vehicles_uk/starstreak_hvm_high_velocity_short-range_surface-to-air_missile_manpads_technical_data_sheet_picture.html.
This model is split into six parts for ease of printing. the basic hull is the core component, and left and right track units should be mounted on this part once the rear panel is glued into place. The turret and aiming units can then be glued or inserted on to the top of the complete hull unit.
