The M4 Sherman is the most produced American tank during WWII. Approximately 50,000 units of all versions were produced between 1942 and 1945.
The 105mm version was produced from 1944 onwards in about 4680 units.
It is crewed by 5 men.
It is armed with a 105mm cannon, a Browning 7.62 machine gun in the hull and sometimes an M2 machine gun on the turret.
