First, the model does not not make a Char D1, not even a initial production version with a Renault Char Canon from the old FT-17 with a SA-18 37mm cannon.
The model is in fact a Renault NC1 or NC27 and saw service with Poland and Japan. It is a link between the World War I vintage FT-17 and the later Renault D1. It is a decent NC27 but can be improved.
1. The main gun is much too large for a SA18 and even longer than the more powerful SA38 fitted to French armor right before World War 2. You need to replace the gun with one from a FT-17, R-35, or H-35 light tanks.
2. The driver’s visor from the front is missing and will need to be scratch built.
I give it four stars for being a decent Renault NC 1 but took away a star for the wrong gun and lack of driver’s visor.
