Project 58 missile cruiser


Project 58 missile cruisers, also known as the “Grozny” type (NATO designation Kynda class) are a type of missile cruisers in the Navy of the Soviet Union.

The first Soviet missile cruisers with anti-ship missile armament. In the course of construction were classified as destroyers. Total 4 units were built: Grozny, Admiral Fokin, Admiral Golovko, and Varyag. All ships of this type were excluded from the USSR and Russian Armed Forces Navy in 1990-2002.
