Peerless Armoured Car

$5.50

After WW1, there was a need for armoured cars to replace those worn out during the conflict.  the Peerless Armoured Car design was developed in 1919. It was based on the chassis of the Peerless three ton lorry, with an armoured body built by the Austin Motor Company.

The vehicle was heavy, and off-road performance was poor, but it was tough and it saw considerable service, especially in Ireland. There were still a few in British service at the beginning of WWII.

This is a 1:100 (15mm) model in two STLs: one for the body, and one for the two turrets.
